Road discription: The highway from the airport from Alicante to Orihuela (AP-7) is a tollway. I would recommend the N-332 instead: this takes only a few minutes longer but is free and has a nicer scenery. You will pass the salt lakes of Guardamar and San Miguel de Salinas and possibly spot a few flamingo's on the road. If you want to take this route don't use your gps leaving the airport of Alicante, but take direction N-332 SANTA POLA. You will pass El Alted, Santa Pola, Torrevieja… Now you can put your gps on - Casa Jo is on google maps :-) Keep following the N-332 until you're at LA ZENIA. Take right to Villamartin.

Key holder: You will be welcomed by Petra. She will hand you over the keys. She lives 10 to 15 minutes away and is during your stay in Casa Jo 24h/24h available should there be a problem with the apartment.

It is very important to update the keyholder about your journey (e.g. delay in flight of bagage handling, long time waiting at the carrental company, traffic jam, …)
